Massage
Reducing tension is the way to relaxation. Our "Deep Tissue" massages represent deep tissue massage. These massages are intended for everyone - it is not a painful massage.
This massage focuses on deeper layers of muscle tissue. The "Deep Tissue" massage technique works with the tissue, not "on the tissue". It is a massage that takes into account the tension and overload of muscle structures, when the therapist works slowly so that he has enough space to perceive the structure of the body and thus respond appropriately to its feedback, either by relaxing and lengthening the affected tissue or by removing stiff areas. It removes muscle spasms, chronic tension in the muscles and relaxes not only the nerve pathways, but also the joints by means of slow deep palpations, stretching and pressure of the fingers, elbows and forearms on contracted places, i.e. muscle fibers, tendons and ligaments. Contracted muscles block the passage of oxygen and nutrients and thus create toxins in the muscle tissue. During the massage, there is a release of waste substances and their subsequent excretion from the body, and an improvement in the flow of blood and oxygen in the tissues.
After the massage, we recommend an increased supply of fluids - preferably water - which helps to eliminate toxic substances from the body. This massage focuses on stiff areas, muscle spasms, painful, tight muscles, can increase momentum and bring relief from repeated overload and improve the condition of tissues that have suffered, for example, an injury in the past. "Deep Tissue" is also excellent preventive care against muscle and fascial imbalances and painful symptoms or injuries resulting from them. The primary goal of this massage is to transform muscle restriction and pain for as long as possible.
"Deep Tissue" massage is originally from Ireland, which has spread widely in the USA and Great Britain. It is a type of therapeutic massage that has been one of the most popular massages abroad for many years.
Massage is not suitable immediately after a meal. We recommend keeping a distance of at least 1 hour. Massage is also not suitable immediately after using the whirlpool bath - if you have booked a wellness appointment in the early evening, we recommend a massage on another day or perhaps in the morning.
